Kenya and other Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa(COMESA) member states have been advised increase budgetary allocations to seed systems. Alliance for Commodity Trade in Eastern and Southern Africa CEO John Mukuka says the trading bloc has an annual Ksh.1.3 billion shillings clean seed funding gap that has increased the region’s agriculture imports.
