In implementing the programs, ACTESA developed this structure about COMESA, Member States, Development, and Implementing Partners through Alliance Members — a network built to mobilize, guide, and sustain agricultural transformation across the region.
Category 01
Farmers' Organizations
Represented by regional organizations that include the East Africa Farmers Federation (EAFF) and Southern Africa Confederation of Agricultural Unions (SACAU) as umbrella bodies. Their role is to mobilize farmers and develop their capacities for effective participation in regional trade policy dialogue and program implementation.

COMESA Secretariat
Provides the platform for endorsement or approval of policy decisions by Member States and for setting the regional agenda. It offers policy guidance towards the Alliance's mandate and operations, and plays a pivotal role in project delegation, resource mobilization, and assuming legal obligations. Given ACTESA's geographical coverage, SADC and EAC are important Alliance Partners.
